Question 1

What is the best alternative to The Unsent Project?

Accepted Answer

Unsaid (unsaid.live) is the premier modern alternative to The Unsent Project. While The Unsent Project only allows messages to first loves by color, Unsaid supports letters to anyone (crushes, exes, friends, college) with realistic paper textures, 36+ colorways, secret email notifications, and verified campus feeds.

Question 2

How does Unsaid differ from NGL, Fizz, and Yik Yak?

Accepted Answer

Unlike NGL, Unsaid never charges users to reveal who sent an anonymous message. Unlike Fizz, Unsaid works in any web browser and does not require a phone number. Unlike Yik Yak, Unsaid verifies campus access via academic email without continuous battery-draining GPS tracking.

Question 3

How can I send an anonymous letter or confession?

Accepted Answer

Simply select a space (either Global or your specific college campus), write your letter to your recipient, select a custom background color, and click submit. You can also secretly notify them by email if you want, but your identity remains completely anonymous.

Question 4

Are college confession boards private on Unsaid?

Accepted Answer

Yes, college confession boards are exclusive to verified students of that university. You must verify using your student email to gain access to read and write confessions in your college's space, but your name and email are never shown. All posts are 100% anonymous.

Question 5

Does Unsaid require a profile or log in?

Accepted Answer

No profiles or names are required. For global feeds, you can start writing immediately. For college-specific feeds, we require a quick, secure email verification, but no profile or username is ever created.

Isn’t it fantastic?
